Need a hand?

StagePad is a one-person tool. Email is the fastest way to reach me; the issue tracker is the public record.

Before you write

  • Which device and OS — iPad, iPhone, or Mac, and the version.
  • What you expected, what happened, and whether it happens again after a relaunch.
  • A screenshot or screen recording if the layout is involved. A picture saves a round trip.
  • If it is about a specific song or set list, the title is enough — no need to send a private chart.

TestFlight

StagePad is distributed through TestFlight on iPhone, iPad, and Mac. TestFlight sends you an update notification when a new build is available; installing it is the best way to check whether a bug is already fixed.

You can send feedback directly from the TestFlight app, including a screenshot. If TestFlight asks whether to share crash reports, sharing them helps; StagePad itself has no crash-reporting SDK and does not collect analytics.

Your data

The library lives on your devices and, when iCloud is available, in your private iCloud account. There is no StagePad account and no developer server to sign into. See the privacy note for the details.

If you are moving devices or want a safety copy, use Settings → Backup to export the whole store as JSON. Keep the file somewhere you trust. Import is always-create: every song and set list in the file is added fresh, so import into an empty library — importing the same file twice doubles the rows.

Printing

A set list exports as a large-print portrait PDF from the stage's menu. US Letter is used in the US, Canada, Mexico, the Philippines, and Chile; A4 everywhere else. The export sheet names the paper it will use. On iPad and iPhone the PDF goes through the share sheet; on the Mac it uses the save panel.
